so how'd you do it then!
darn it, i meant to do a plate of watermelon for greek night just like they do in the restaurants....i can't believe i forgot that! one of my memories is finishing our meal then feasting on watermelon whilst watching a storm over the bay we were looking down on.....wicked!

 We used to take a melon cut a long plug from the top and pour in about 1/2 a bottle of vodka, gin or liquor of choice and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Don't forget to put the plug back in!!The flavored vodkas are quite good!! I've used watermelons, honey dews and cantelopes!! I think watermelons are the best though. Haven't done it in years! It was a cheap way to entertain when we were young. Would also do a frozen slushie made out of frozen orange & lemonade concentrate, a quart of ice tea ,peach schnapps and vodka! Freeze until slushie and put about 1/3 cup in glass with club soda or gingerale. Garnish with lemon or orange!
