I don't really hang out on I-Drive. I do go down to the outlet mall and have been to Wonder Works, Ripleys, The Titanic exhibit and that sort of thing.

We love the golf on idrive! Wet n Wild is also there and we tend to go there at least once, although we did aquatica too last year.
We've done Ripleys and Titanic and although we liked them they arent something we would do again

We quite like I. Drive
Ripleys - wouldn't do that again! Wonderworks we have visited a couple of times and included the lazer tag and Outta Control Magic Dinner Show.
DH absolutely loved the wind tunnel and I had an absolute blast laughing at him
We visited the new location Titanic earlier this year too.
Also quite like the go-karts

Was titanic different to when it was further down Diane? Was wondering if they had done anything or included anything new to it?

We don't go to I Drive, only for Prime. It's changed so much over the years, there is just nothing there that appeals to us now.

I used to love the Mercado Village, we spent many an evening at Blazing Pianos (I think that's what it was called :unsure and wandering round the shops. There used to be a nice steak restaurant as well, I think it was called Damon's  Crikey that was a long time ago.

I'm really interested in this thread

All the times we've been to Orlando, we're yet to properly explore international drive because we havent stayed there and haven't had a car either.

I really get the feeling that we may be missing out on loads of things! for eg that piano restaurant sounds great!

I'm definitely going to note down all the recommendations and try and see if we can do some of them next time so keep them coming!!

The piano and restaurant were great Keith, but they aren't there anymore  Sorry maybe I wasn't clear - I was reminiscing about the good old days. Slap me if you like :D

Really, maybe they have moved then

The Mercado closed quite a few years ago now, the first time we went there was in 1994.

I know that I`ve mentioned it before Keith, but you MUST visit Gaylord Palm, located at the lower end of I Drive, not too far from WDW.
There are a couple of really nice restaurants there which you would definitely enjoy.

We plan on going this year a few times as we want to try the different buffets and also the steak restaurant - Terry, I promise not to tell Ricky :D

We've been a couple of times now Terry but just for the Ice Show and things like that, we still haven't tried the restaurants! We really really must

If you do decide to dine at Gaylords Keith it`s almost essential to call and make a reservation for the Old Hickory Steakhouse there.
The Villa de Florez [where we went with Wendy & Chris] is a buffet restaurant where you can usually just walk in.
Both are well worth the effort.

No Kate, nothing new - actually less artifacts etc to look at in the new location. For anyone who has never been before though it will still be a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Keith, there is still a piano/singalong bar on I. Drive but it is Howl At The Moon. HERE (http://www.wdisneysecrets.com/index.php/orlando-dinner-a-evening-shows/113-evening-entertainment/275-howl-at-the-moon.html)
Also the Ice Bar - but that may not be your cup of tea! HERE (http://www.wdisneysecrets.com/index.php/orlando-dinner-a-evening-shows/113-evening-entertainment/277-icebar-orlando.html)

I love buffets! We never really tend to go far from where we are based though when it comes to food, think its because we just grab what we can on the go in the parks and we go to places that are quite near to the hotel to eat on the way home, so that we dont have far to flop after the meal! Guess thats one of the drawbacks to not driving!

What a shame there dont seem to be as many artifacts at titanic anymore. I really enjoyed it there - made a nice change and i found it very interesting!
