View Full Version : A bit of Macintosh history...

For any of you that are old enough to remember the original Macintosh (1984), you would know that it came with a revolutionary program called MacPaint. If you had a Mac back then, you used it and were amazed by it. Much like today's iPad.

Well, that software now has a permanent place in history. The source code to it has been archived into the Computer History Museums archives and is freely available to the public. See this article:

I nearly wet myself when I saw the first macintosh :) then again when I saw the superbowl ad, then again when I saw the apple laserwriter :) :lol:

I had one of the blue wedge desktops :D loved it and a friend had a sort of apple cube thing

We didn't get blakes7 on this side of the pond that I know of. At least I never got to see it. :lipwobble:
