Take 1,050 lbs. of honey, 800 lbs. of flour, 600 lbs. of chocolate, 600 lbs. of powdered sugar, 180 lbs. of apricot glaze, 140 pints of egg whites, 35 lbs. of spices...mix well together with some pixie dust and you get the Gingerbread House at the GF during the festive season. :lol:

It will take you 840 hours [over 2 months to create].
Oh and to finish it off you will also need 5,089 shingles!

My culinary exploits are limited to cheese on toast Tink. [Although I have been able to boil the occasional egg. :lol:]

Just give me one of those delicious oat cakes or whatever it was that we were eating while we were there Terry. With some cheese of course.

Kate, it does smell wonderful!! :yes: During Christmas season, any resort that has a gingerbread creation (and there are some amazing ones, like a working carousel!) the entire area is permeated with the scent of gingerbread. NICE!!!!

Esme... you could claim it was a Mouse! :D :lol:

they have bits you ca taste while they are building and the smell is awsome :)

the smell was amazing all the gingerbread is in plastic boxes and they use icing to hold it together there were trays with off cuts on for people to eat :)

Yes, the aroma is enough to drive you mad, isn't it? :yes: YUMMMMMMY!!!!
