Does this count as my trip report?
6am coffee by the pool.:D
I;m wondering what is the best deal I can get on a 1 bed DVC property for 2012. I love having the extra room for Steven but I'm really jealous of all those Disney buses everywhere. :sorry:
Anyway Auntie Jo has just got out of the pool.
The heat is quite draining but we're still managing to geit loads done. Will not be attempting to see any night shows or fireworks as it's just too much for Steven. He's doing amazingly well but to expect him to do 14 hour days in this climate is just cruel. He did 7 hours MK and 5 hours in BB yesterday.
Today is Epcot with lots of air conditioning. Teppan Edo at 2pm.
Remind me when I start writing the trip report to tell you about the woman in the green dress. :mental:
imo leaving the room in that heat is incredible, let alone doing 7hrs in a park! Well done Steven!!
Must be so lovely being able to get up and get in the pool like that, or just laze around by the pool!
It;s 6.30am now and the thermometer on the wall says 80. Yesterday evening it dropped to 78 - that's the lowest it's been since we arrived.
Using factor 50 sunscreen but Adrian still a bit pink in the face - as soon as he puts on sunscreen he sweats it straight off.

Sounds like a very attractive look - hope youve taken photos!!

Sounds like you all are having fun, did you have reservations at Chef Mickeys this trip or am I wrong? Did Stephen enjoy it? Ty at 13 still secretly does
Steven loved Chef Mickeys. He was so excited about the characters I think he forgot to eat.

No, this is not your trip report :D
We are, however, loving this little peeks into your holiday  Sounds like you guys are having a wonderful time!!
wow.. just reading about the heat is making me tired!
WTG Steven!! glad he's doing great and having fun! :)
Back from a long day at Epcot. Teppan Edo was fantastic.
Can't find Teresa's mug anywhere but have bought this year's special mug instead.
~Tigger loved Steven's Angry Birds tshirt.
Will be back at Epcot next week for Test Track, Mission Space and Steven wants to do a Kim Possible adventure.
You'll have to wait for the trip report but we had a magical moment happen to us today. :D

Can't wait to hear all about your sprinkling of :pdust: :D
It happened in the Living Seas because I have such an amazing kid. That's all I'm giving away.
Oh and Turtle Talk with Crush is quite simply the best thing Disney have done in a long time. Seriously clever and very funny. And Steven got to talk to Crush.
6am and 80 degrees again. Finding that we're not eating as much as we would if we were here later in the year. Too hot to eat. We're having one big meal a day and then snacking and last night we had fruit for dinner by the pool after our big Teppan Edo lunch. I recommend the shrimp there - :awesome:
Oh and by the American Adventure pavillion there's a coffee kiosk - frozen capuccino is amazing.
Animal Kingdom today. Steven wants to meet more characters.

Well we could have all told them that!!! :critterbounce: So glad to hear Steven got a little smattering of the good stuff.

So don't tell Steven, as I'm a little jealous that *I'll* never get to talk to Crush...but I so definitely agree...it's a great show, way underrated IMO.

:) For a moment I offhandedly thought, oh..I'll have to try that next time I go....then I realized that will be TOMORROW!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Animal Kingdom today. Steven wants to meet more characters.
Say hi to the baby gorilla for me!
I think you are doing amazingly well, given this crazy heat and humidity. Heat index is the temperature it "feels" like (although the thermometer will say a bit lower) due to humidity. Heat index has been in the 103-107 degree range for days.
Taking a break is a critical factor.
One bedroom DVC won't do for you what you have now (I'm guessing anyway). The one bedroom is just that. One king bed and then the others sleep in the living room on pull outs. You'd more likely want a two bedroom and you'll probably croak at the cost of that.
Villas really are the way to go for families who are staying for any length of time.

I'm glad you and your family are having such a great vacation!! I'm also glad to see you've given up on the 4am/5am coffee and are back on a somewhat better clock at 6am :rotfl: Although you are on vacation!!!!
Hope you continue to have tons of fun!
aww Dawn!
I cant wait for the trip report to find out about the dress and now the disney magic you were a part of!
Tatiana LOVED the Crush experience... she didnt get to talk to him, yeah, she couldnt even talk hahahaha, but she just jumped up and down and kept waving at him the whole time! I thought it was brilliant!

Sounds like your all having a great time, looking forward to all the photos.
Animal Kingdom was amazingly hot. I mean amazingly hot. I must have drunk about 4 litres of water at the minimum. It was still excellent though, even if Steven did freak out in Tough to be a Bug. Mostly breaking up the day with lots of sitting down in the shade and lots of drink breaks. Seems to be working.
Didn't see the baby gorilla but did see a cute baby rhino and a hippo up REALLY CLOSE. :eek:And the Boneyard was full of parents who couldn't find their children. :rotfl:
Steven is in the pool again but is getting out any second as 1. it's bedtime and 2. the storm is about to hit.
HARAMBE!
Sea World tomorrow.

Brilliant to hear about Stevens adventures at Disney.
Loving these little sneaky peeks of your trip!!!
Trying to decide if I'd prefer the extreme heat that you have, or the actual frost we had in January.....
6am coffee by the pool again. Could really get used to this. Sat by the pool last night and watched the lightning in the distance.
Oh and the seagulls from Nemo have provided us with the motto for the trip "Mine Mine Mine Mine" We have the tshirt. :D
Sea World today.

Love to walk by and hear the seagulls in EPCOT...we spend the rest of the day wandering through sniping, "MINE. MINE. MINE. MINE."
