Im having a hard time trying to find a beauty and the beast Belle dress for dd. She is going to BBB in November and wants to be made into Belle, i thought the dress would be cheaper to buy here rather than while we were at the boutique but there doesnt seem to be hardly any about - even on ebay! Having said that, she is likely to change her mind about which princess is her favourite before we go!

How much do you think the dress will be if we get it at Disney? Will it be cheaper in the shops rather than the boutique?

Thank you!! :wiggle:

I`m 99.9% sure that the prices of all Disney merchandise is the same irrespective of where you buy it from at WDW.

The cost will depend upon the style you choose. I've seen some over $100 easy.

You might get lucky and find one in Walmart or Target, believe it or not! They often carry Disney princess costumes.

My friend got a lovely one for her wee girl on ebay. It was as good as new.

Dont want to be paying that much, $100 is way too much imo!
Ive looked on ebay, only 1 in her size though. Im trying to steer her away from Belle tbh, i dont like her dress that much - not a big fan of yellow ruffles!

There is a red Belle dress too. If you don't want to spend a fortune, then you'll need to find the dress elsewhere.

What size is she, and when are you coming over again?

Oooh really? Best keep checking ebay then!
Im not sure what size she will need tbh, the dresses in our disney shop seem to be quite small? We are coming in November, so we still have a bit of time!

Kate... the simple princess dresses INSIDE WDW are around 50 ... no accesories though

However, if you go to The Disney Store, you can find very similar dresses for 25-30, plus, you will be going after Halloween, so anything that was left will be on sale

Is that the disney store online or a "real" disney store shop?! I tried to look online at the US disney store but kept getting re-directed to the UK one. But, i tried a different search method on ebay and have got a few on watch - one of them is from Disneyland and its so much different and prettier than the Belle dresses we have here, it looks much more like the one in the film.

Hoooooray, i got one!! :mental:
Had to check with dd first, although she is only 3 if i had got something that she considered to be "the wrong one" then i would have been in huuuuge trouble! So, thanks to ebay, i got one for £10 + p&p of course. Thats another thing to tick off the list!

Thanks for your help everyone!
