Anyone ever been to the Atlantic Dance hall at the Boardwalk?

I really would like to try it one evening but am worried that we'll look like the grandparents once inside!!! Is it full of youngsters?

I would like to know too, what type of music do they play? Does it cost to get in?

Apparently music is 80s 90s and today and you can request. They have big video screens. Admission free

We've wandered past a few times but have never been 'dressed' enough to go in. The females that were going inside were pretty dolled up!

Keith, I think you're going next - be a pal and pop in for a bop :D

Had a look inside but this was a while ago when smoking was allowed and it was just too smokey for me!
However, it is now a no smoking area so we are planning on visiting at the end of the year....maybe after a bop at the Atlantic Dance Hall

I've been a few times and I think this probably says more about me than the place, but I felt like they all knew each other and I was the outsider

In fairness the nights I went there seemed to be groups of CMs and others rather than just tables of normal walk ins.

It felt like somewhere I should enjoy but perhaps just on a different night.

I think a couple of nights per week, the CM's get discounts at the bar
