Mmmmm. I may be missing something in translation here :D

Superb photos! We must have missed the Build a Light Sabre thingie in January. A reason to go back :D

Yes they still have the Potato Head thingy.

Umm adult diapers are available but generally not in a supermarket - more of a speciality item really.

Those claws looked delicious - that place just went on my list for next time!!

I thought the thing with the diapers was that they were in the "British" section - or did I overthink that one?

You really can't buy them in a supermarket in the UK?

Dawn

Well to be honest I've never shopped for them. But in Walmart there was a whole section of loads of different types. Must check next time I'm in Tesco.

I hate the term "adult diapers!" :nono: Briefs, please. Our Elders don't wear diapers, rather disposable briefs. And yes. It does matter.

Yes ma'am, agreed - much better term!

Fantastic pictures  Why are you drinking jam from a jar?

Dawn
30-08-2010, 08:43 PM
It's a mason jar and it's root beer. We bought 3 of the jars home with us. The jars come free with a cocktail or are $1.99 with a soft drink. :D

I only used the term "diapers" so that everyone would know what I was talking about.

This makes me wonder if we Americans have more control issues than the rest of the world

I bought a bottle of sweet tea vodka just to get the free mason jar

Yum and double yum for the strawberry diaquiri....mmmmm, my favorite. :drool4:

I was wondering why his mouth was blue. :D

I didn't know that Walmart had a British section, hmmm, will now be out on the search for it. Interesting. Now, I've seen the Asian and Mexican section, but not British.

Uh-oh, do we have more control issues? That's a scary thought. I know when I worked at Walmart years and years ago, they use to make disposable briefs for "that time" if you know what I mean. I worked in that area.

Some Walmart's have much larger British Sections than others. Publix has them too... again, depending on the location of the Publix the section will be well stocked (or not so well stocked).

Ah yes... there are fond memories of the time in Publix when Herself caught sight of the tin labeled, "Spotted Dick." :D I explained the history of the name to her (as learned from our dear members here) ... didn't help much!

They did look good didn't they. I didn't realize that Joe's Crab Shack had lobster claws with it's crab legs.

Depends upon the type of pot you choose, John. They have several combinations to choose from. One has the lobster claws in them.

For the record I had the Sam Adams steampot - crab legs, lobster claws, 1lb clams, corn and potatoes. :D
