There is rumour spreading on the Internet that they've gone bust. I hope nobody is affected if it's true

WHAT! Really? OMG I used these in the past, but once it was pointed out to me that they were not governed by any body and not covered if they went bust and my money would go down the swanney, I never used them since.

Hope no one here has used them recently :( They were good but it's too big of a risk.

I have been reading the same thing. I hope not for anyone that has money from them. It's certainly getting to be a more scarrier world

Lady at work has been waiting in all day for a delivery from them which has not arrived, she couldnt get through on the phone. She's very worried indeed as you would be

I've been reading about it on another forum and it seems to be true - Crown Currency have had their accounts frozen with Barclays

How sad for anyone who uses them, they will probably lose their holiday spending money.

yeah :/ truly dreadful.

I mean companies go bust, especially in this economy, but what just amazes me is how they keep taking money from people up to the very moment when their doors close :/ People are reporting transferring thousands to them a couple of hours before they closed. I mean there's something deeply wrong with that IMHO

Yes there is Keith. :( It's terrible to have trust broken and money lost. I hope no one here has been caught in it.

Feel very badly for those who were. :(
