how busy is december?

The first two weeks aren't too bad, but many DVC members use their points to visit then so it's not as slow as you'd imagine. The approach to the Christmas Holiday is chaotic, peaking the week of Christmas. The parks often close due to capacity on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. That translates into a park that is literally shoulder to shoulder people with LONG lines for everything from the popcorn cart to the bathrooms.

Once you move away from NYE (of course then it's January and no longer December) things taper off until the Marathon Weekend arrives... and so the cycle of the "Disney Year" begins again!
