Thats what the posh ones are called now? right? Which is your most favourite one of them all. We've had citricos recommended to us but the yachtsmans steakhouse looks good on the photos

We normally dine at several signature restaurants during our trips and it is hard to pick out a distinct favourite as we like the various restaurants for different reasons.
We love the YSH because we are good friends with one of the servers there and also the steaks are good.
Citrico`s is excellent for the more adult surroundings and if you can get a window seat facing MK you get a reasonable view of the fireworks.
The Blue Zoo is definitely more devoid of children, which is why we can enjoy a quiet meal in peace.
Artist Point is another place we like and I have also find that it is one of the easiest locations to secure an ADR as it is located away from the main attractions of WDW and hence attracts less "passing trade".
The Flying Fish is also one of our choices as it`s nice to have a stroll around the Boardwalk after dinner.
In the parks, the Bistro de Paris at Epcot is also among our "must do" restaurants where the food is excellent and if you are lucky and time it right you get a great view of Illuminations.
I could go on and on, but as you can see, its very hard to pick a winner...unless you include V&A`s which wins hands down for that special meal.

:Iagree:
Tom (:macwave:... where shall we eat?)
Our list is much like Slowhand's.
Yachtsman's Steakhouse is a nice place to go for beef. Bistro in France is a lovely place to have a leisurely meal. It's one of our very favorite places.
We liked BlueZoo, but haven't been back.
Love Artist Point. We like Jiko too, but it's not quiet by any means. Loud and noisy any more and that does detract from the "fine" dining experience. With the loss of executive chef Grecchi-Gray, things have gone slowly and surely downhill, and that detracts.
Although not necessarily a signature, Cape May is one of our very consistent "go to" restaurants. Always well maintained, always fresh food, always good service. Some changes through the years, but it continues to be consistently good at each visit.

Our list is also quite similar (although we have yet to visit Blue Zoo...), but another favorite is Jiko.

It is really quite hard to choose which is the best among those signature restaurants but for me Yachtsman's Steakhouse is what I really love. We dine here every time we are on trip.

Of the 3 you list I reckon that Jiko has the most "intimate" ambience, although all of them are really good restaurants.

And I think it would be Jons favourite menu too! Thanks

AP really is a good restaurant.
Due to its location, being off the monorail loop and a bit "out of the way", I have found that this is one of the easiest of the signature restaurants to secure an ADR if you leave it late in trying to sort out your dining arrangements.
I don't know if Chef Robert is still there, but he used to create the most incredible dishes at Artist Point. They bill themselves as gourmet American, which translates into some pretty amazing meat and potato dishes!

I also don`t know if Chef Robert is there, but this is the only on-site place where I know what I`ll be ordering before I get there! [Buffalo Steak followed by Fruit Cobbler].....who needs a menu anyhow?
Herself likes buffalo too, Slowhand! I'm not as huge a fan, but them I'm too fussy by half. :sorry:
I do really enjoy this restaurant though, everything from the food choices (minus the buffalo ;) ) to the view (the corner table with the windows is our favorite area) to the excellent service.
The little lounge is a nice place to have a pre or post dinner drink, as well!

I'm giving some serious consideration to the Buffalo Steak myself this time around.

It`s reputed to have very low fat and cholestral [sp?] compared with other red meats John.
Yes, that's true Slowhand. Herself has cardiac history, and our doc recommended buffalo as a replacement for beef or, GRASS fed beef as a replacement for grain fed (or g-d knows what else fed) beef.
So far it's done the trick. Her cholesterol levels are normal now where they were NOT previously.

I, however, will NOT be having buffalo. :blech:
But I never have a problem finding something really yummy there.
