just curious :unsure::tongue:

Do you plan everything down to the minute or do you just make it up as you go along?

it's way harder now with the dining plan to get a table though right? so its harder to just go somewhere

If you plan how do you plan? do you just list everything on a spreadsheet or what? :worship:

i plan to a certain extent. but one thing im not keen on is the dining plan even tho ive never stayed onsite. i dont want to be somewhere at a certain time or place i prefer to wing it everyday. just wake up think, where do i want to go today, then decide. works for me :D

have done both but i prefer to wing it and i hate having to choose where i eat 90 days out so unless i am desperate to eat somewhere just eat offsite. :)

:yeahthat:

we really try not to overplan because it feels like work or a military exercise  but its getting harder to eat at disney without booking 180 days out

I`m with the majority in that I hate working to a rigid timetable but thanks to those pesky dining plans it is essential to make ADR`s for those "must do" restaurants for dinner.
I therefore prepare a spreadsheet for our trips and enter the details of our ADR`s which are the only items that are "cast in stone".

Apart from that I work on a day to day basis taking each day as it comes and going wherever we fancy at the time.

Oh, I plan plan plan!
I know where we will be each day and where we'll be eating. Saying this, if we don't feel like a meal and we have an ADR, I'll cancel and go for a hotdog instead

I plan the parks so that we don't visit during Extra Magic Hours or, for Hollywood Studios, I plan on a day when Fantasmic ISN'T showing so that the park isn't as crowded. We then go to Hollywood Studios just for Fantasmic and that's usually after a full day at Animal Kingdom which closes before the other parks.

I do try to leave a couple of days blank so that if we were to miss any attraction/parade/show because of bad weather etc, then I have time to go and revisit.

We have a general idea of what we want to do on a given day. If we really want to eat in a particular place we'll make an ADR and then plan our day around that meal.

I'm a planner. Oh, not down to the last detail, but we do decide on meals and activities well in advance.

We do the same, the only thing we plan is dinner!

I dont really plan at all, we usually decide where we are going and what we are doing the night before! Having said that, this time i have booked the bippidi boppidi boutique for my little girl so i had to do some planning for that - i made sure it was on a day where MVMCP wasnt on so that we could stay late and watch the fireworks and i also made a dinner reservation as we only ever eat counter service!

Like Slowhand and others, we really only plan the meals that require ADR's.

We "might" try to arrange our schedule a bit around Extra Magic Hours or what park we're going to start each day with but other than than, it's the meals everytime! :dine:

Tom (:macwave:... you can call me anything you like except late for dinner!)
