Well do you want to be able to print from the ipad to it with airprint ? cos if so, the HP ones are the only ones that work... if that doesnt matter then the choice is more open

I use to have an HP that lasted for several years and then when that one finally died I bought a Canon (MP530) and it's also great. Both of mine have had the ability to fax, scan, copy, and print. Strangely enough I've never used the faxing function. :D

well next time you lunch with mr. Jobs... ask him and report back ;-)

Honestly I dont know. I wouldve said heck yeah but that it hasn't already happened is a bit amazing. The apple guys said to me it was a matter of canon and co bringing out hardware/software to support it but :/

There's a canon printer currently sitting in our hallway, I've been out all day so not sure if Dad has bought it without telling me or if it's for someone else. Will report back.

:rotfl: I thought it might have been a gift as I know my cousin got a new computer for his birthday and thought perhaps Mum & Dad bought him a new printer to go with it  Turns out it is ours, and I didn't even notice it is an Epson untiL I opened the box :rotfl: Will report back.

It sounds weird but I virtually never ever print stuff out any more !!

22-03-2011, 07:51 PM
Me either! I have found recently I need it more and more though and printing in uni ends up expensive for big essays and our last one printer went on the blink (probably through lack of use!) so this one is a happy edition to the household.

The only thing we ever really print now is the kids homework and tickets before we fly anywhere,

Photos etc very very rarely as most go on digital frames!

I can't think of a single time I've printed a photo except for on a dedicated photo printer. We used to have a kodak one back in the day like this:

Josh, I have killed several large trees on my own due to my schooling. I print a lot and buy paper by the case through Staples.
