I agree - it made us walk around for a while before taking on another ride! That whole area of the park is very well-done in recreating the magic of the Harry Potter stories/movies.

The Hogwarts building looms over that area similar to how Cinderella's Castle is a prominent landmark at MK.

Wow, that is pretty amazing! I think those are the first pictures I have seen of HP. We have a good long time before we go to Universal (we think the kids are just too small), so it will be interesting to see how it looks when we do finally get there.

Shelly, I have a few more of the "Hogsmeade" area, if you are interested. Click the link and then the "right arrow" button to view.

Thanks :-) I wish the sky had been more conducive to picture-taking that day!

Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this! Diane, how much worse was it than spiderman or back to the future? If I can ride them with no I'll effects would I be able to do the forbidden journey?

I will personally say it's as-bad as Spiderman or The Simpson's ride (Back to the Future ride is gone, replaced by the Simpson's).

It's 4D in a sense as it incorporates movement against an IMAX-like screen with other effects :-)

For me it was worse than Spiderman but nowhere near as bad as the old Back To The Future ride....which took me hours to recover from!
