wdw preferred rooms ?

Hiya :thumbsup: does anyone know what preferred room options mean at port orleans or pop century or the all star resorts? Does it just mean the rooms are closest to the lobby or something else?

That is what it is supposed to mean. However, on consecutive stays at Pop Century our preferred room, which I didn't realize I had even booked, was further away than our standard room. So go figure.
