where to watch illuminations?

I thought the post on wishes viewing spots was really useful so can we do a similar thing for illuminations because I keep standing and not seeing them because of trees or smoke or something in the way

If you get there early enough to nab a spot the bridge between the UK and France is wonderful. Otherwise I would try to nab a spot anywhere along the lagoon in plenty of time and be willing to wait. We have had the opportunity now to see it both from the pavilion in the UK and from the one in Italy, both for private parties. We also get to see it from a prime spot if we happen to attend the Party for the Senses during Food and Wine Festival.
