My Dad used to ride a Lambretta in his youth and has wanted one ever since. He found this beauty online and had to buy it. It's a 1964 lambretta LI150 (I think) In fantastic condition. I'm not sure how much he'll use it but he really loves it so far! He's calling it a second childhood but I call it a midlife crisis  I want to use it to drive to uni but my license doesn't allow me!

:rotfl: They are!! I don't know why MOTM re-jiggled them but I sent them from my phone so perhaps to do with that. I'll put new ones up!

I am jealous of him, he wouldn't even let me ride it round the block! I badly want a go.

They are the right way up now
My brothers would drool all over that. They each had a variety of scooters in their younger days.

This thread sure takes me back.
In my youth I had a Lambretta SX200 in the days of the Mods & Rockers.
To follow the trend, I adorned mine with loads of chrome fittings including 16 [yes 16] wing mirrors, font and rear carriers, roll bars etc.etc.
I rode it wearing my parka with the obligatory Union jack flag on the back.
Those were the days.

Yep, a false one I hasten to add.
It matched the fake fur around the hood of my parka.
