Woohoo!!! I am soooooooooooo excited!!! 2 weeks from today and I will be getting on a plane to California.
Ok, I finally found a rental car rate that isn't going to make me need to rob a bank. That makes me happy.
I did Priceline another hotel and we are now staying at The Doubletree which gets good reviews and no fear of roaches (hopefully).
The Disneyland tickets have been purchased. I even get free parking with my AAA ticket.
We're booked to do the OC Cruiser tour beach thingie. The girls are psyched!
We're booked for the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour which I am beyond excited about!
Mom gave me my updated AAA card so I can use it for discounts.
I have maps of the graveyards we're going to visit. I just need to print out directions.
Ok I think we are good.

Oh yes, Alysia wants to see Marilyn Monroe's grave and I want to see Walt's. They are in 2 separate graveyards and lots of other famous dead people. We're going to make a whole morning of it!

Have a wonderful time Johnie! BTW California is a very dry heat. I lived there for awhile...feels like the inside of an oven when the Santa Annas blow! Do not be shocked if you find sand in everything lol...Car shops make a fortune repainting cars due to the sands blowing around. It's not really bad just kinda caught me offguard lol.

I think I may need to take a moisturizer since I am so used to the humidity here. My skin may crack with a dry heat!

Good idea! The closer you are to the ocean, the higher the humidity.
You shouldn't have too much trouble with your car being sandblasted in the city. Now if you go to Palm Springs, all bets are off!
The front end of my car had no paint after several years of living in Palm Springs. Many people had "daily" cars and "formal" cars when I lived there. The daily cars usually were sandblasted, the formal ones weren't! :)

Is it time to bury that body now Johnie?
Oh. Wait. I see. You're just sightseeing? Ok.

I like looking around old cemeteries as well, my friend and I used to make a Sunday afternoon out of it when we were teenagers on our bikes.
Highgate Cemetery in North London is a good one :p015: I would have to visit Walts if I was in the area.
Can't wait to see the pictures and read about this trip Johnie :D
