epcot illuminations cruises

Has anyone done an illuminations cruise please and how did you book it? Was it worth the money as I've heard that smoke makes the view awful

The wind direction makes the complete difference. If it is blowing toward the bridge (between the UK and France, under which the boats park) you will have an obstructed view.

Otherwise, it's a grand time. It used to be you booked through WDW PLAY, but it's been awhile and things may have changed.
