I was just wondering what if any preperations you all make before going to Disney? I mean do you lose weight, buy new clothes, buy certain creams for the plane journey or anything?

None of those, really. I normally obsess over things like "did I pack the APs? Did I pack all our meds? Will they find our reservations when we get there? Did I pack our itinerary with all our confirmation #s? Where are all the battery chargers?" I will check and recheck. Then I'll repeat the whole exercise when we leave for home...

I always have a pedicure the day before we fly :lol:
Always have some new clothes but, to be honest, a lot of the clothes we wear in Florida, we wouldn't wear in the UK so some clothes see WDW just as much as we do ourselves!

Lists. And more lists. And a master list divided into sublists. A packing list and things get ticked off as they are packed. But then if you unpack something it has to go back on the list and be re-ticked as they are repacked.

And I guarantee you I am not the only one here that does this. :wink:

I only have one list and that's the one with ADR info on it

I do get a Pedi before I go.

Why wouldn't you wear them at home? Or do you mean like Mickey and Minnie tee-shirts!!! I usually only wear those to bed!

Oh, I wear my Mickey t/shirts at home on a weekend :lol:
The clothes I don't wear at home are shorts and cami tops etc....don't get the weather for them too often in the UK and there is no way I would walk down our street in shorts anyway. I suppose it comes down to vanity - I don't know anyone in Florida!:unsure:

Lists, lists and more lists...we are going in may and i have already made a million lists..including everything we want to buy!!
mani/pedi..for sure!
few new clothes...always buy more when you get there
trip to the hairdresser..have to look my best for Mickey..
and off we go!!!!

what are the crowds like???
we always go in Oct..for halloween..
