Yep Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace are both lively character breakfasts, I also like 1900 Park Fair (Grand Floridian) and Tusker House (Animal Kingdom) both character meals. My favourite onsite breakfast is Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge but that's not a character meal.

1900 Park Fare at the GF may be worth a try, although it can be a tad pricy to justify dining with the characters.
I hear that Whispering Canyon at WL can be VERY lively too!

The ham and scrambles eggs at Boma are to die for - followed by stawberries

There is also a character breakfast at the Beach Club. Can't remember the name off the top of my head though. I'm sure someone knows the name.

Wow, talk about a loaded question. To be truthful you have to ask yourself what am I looking for?

For me, if I want a buffet Boma wins hands down with Cape May and 1900 Park Fare tied for 2nd. If you just want scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage you can get them almost anywhere. The breakfast at Olivia's Cafe adds some variety that you won't find most other places.

We've been to Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and the liveliest was Chef Mickeys.

We had a great time at both though

Through the years we've found Cape May's Character Breakfast Buffet with Goofy and Friends to be the best in terms of character interaction, service and food selection. Minnie holds court in a little place (that used to be the Rip Tide Lounge) to the right of the restaurant proper.

Chef Mickey's is more liveliness than I can handle in the morning! :surrender:

Didn't care for Boma at all which is quite surprising as we really liked dinner there. Was quite disappointed actually.

We used to love Spoodle's for breakfast, but alas no more. Kouzzina had great food and TERRIBLE front of the house service. I'm amazed that anyone was seated. The servers were all grumpy as a result of the front of the house messing up everyone's seating so that didn't add to the experience in a positive way...

I think that we have done them all except Cape May and Tusker House. Our favourite has to be 1900. It is the only one we return to now.

I have to insist each trip that i have a Boma (AKL) breakfast. So much variety and the service is good. Staying at AKL this time so it will be easier to get there.

I'm not a big breakfast eater, so I tend to have breakfast food for dinner. Backwards, I know.

That being said, I love Chef Mickey's, especially as an early lunch/late breakfast. I try to book one of the latest time slots.

I really want to try the one at GF, 1900 Park Fare.

I used the one on US192.
It`s located on the Westbound carriageway shortly after you turn Eastbound on US192 from Old Lake Wilson Road.
