Someone has told me a natty little tip for framing in PS - very quick to do but I think it looks pretty effective.

Its embarrassingly easy  - I'll put it in simple terms that I understood - apologies if its too basic

Once you have your finished photo that you are happy with open a new document thats quite a bit bigger ( I had to check the number of pixels the photo was first, wide and long then create one that is maybe 500-1000 more in each direction )

Drag the photo from the bottom and plonk it on the document then move it off to the right and down a bit

Flatten the layers

Do a maximum gaussian blur

Flatten the layers

Drag your photo onto the smudgy mess and try and move it so it looks kinda 3D

Flatten the layers

Crop so there is some white around the edge

Add your text

Flatten the layers

Add salt to taste

It sounds more complicated than it is - takes about 30 seconds to do now and I really like the look of it

I think I kinda want to start putting a little sig on some of my better ones soon but I have no idea how to make an icon - any ideas where to start?
