It's billed as a neighborhood grill and bar. Info here (http://www.applebees.com/). It's ok for an occasional average night out but it's certainly nothing special. Not all that different from all the other places like O'Charleys, Chiles, or Ruby Tuesday's. I wouldn't go out of my way for one.
Tom (:macwave:... meh...)

We love Applebbes, it's very easy going and food is always fresh and good value.
We go often. They have a 2 for $20 menu so you share an appetiser and then get a meain each. also, drinks are bogof all day everyday.
Sorry Tom, have to disagree, we love it ( and it's just a 2 minute drive from the villa)

I enjoy Applebees. I like going to have a decent drink and a meal with friends. It can get a little loud in the evenings, but that don't bother me.

Applebee's is fine as far as food goes. But, it is not one of my MUST DO places.

The thing with Applebees is it depends which one youve gone to, I've had good and bad experiences with them. Same as all the chains really

Thereis one onthe highway 27 close to highland reserve
I am absolutely not a fan. The last time I had to eat in an Applebee's (traveling with family who insisted we have dinner there ...) it was nothing short of disgusting. Seriously, rotting lettuce in my salad and chicken that actually smelled bad. Needless to day I didn't eat it... won't be going again, regardless of who wants to! :sorry:
