silly question but in the florida humidity I cant stopmy hair going curly and then i dont want any photos taken :rolleyes008: has anyone found any products to stop it?
I can't imagine anything that would stop it. Sure, you could weight your hair down with gels, and spray, but that would be plain nasty in the heat (it would literally melt, yuck!).
If you don't like the curls, use a hat or a scarf to contain your hair. That's about it! :sorry:
A hat. :D
Seriously it's so humid out there nothing will keep hair under control.

is it even worth buying hair straighteners to take out and if I do will they work over there?

Not worth it. You'd need dual voltage straighteners and as soon as you step out into the humidity all the hard work will be undone anyway.

What she said :p015:
My hair gets huge when in humidity and there is nothing to be done about it. I got myself some tigger ears and kept it off my face.

I usually have a ponytail too, but then it bushes up and I look like a derranged squirrel!
How about getting it braided?

I usually wear mine pulled back and up in a scrunchie or band of some kind. There is probably not a picture of me anywhere with my hair down and looking good when it's hot/humid.
Another pony tail or other hair-pulled-back style advocate.
If you use styling products, they melt and run and get all sticky and yucky. You probably could use a bit of leave-in conditioner, but even that can be uncomfortable by the end of a long, hot humid day.

:yeahthat:
First time we went to Disney, I was INTENT on looking good for the camera, so the first morning I woke up...flat ironed my hair and sprayed some sort of Dehumidifying hair spray in it...
We headed over to MK and onto Splash Mountain...long story short...got splashed with one of the water cannons....hair destroyed...flattened to my head, dripping down my face and into my eyes....hair spray in my eyes and my contacts....our photo looked a sight.
Never again. Pony tail.

Me and the humidity are arch enemies. I used to do a ponytail but then my bangs were all sweaty and weird. So I now I just put it all back in a headband. I don't like showing my forehead to the world but oh well.
