we enjoyed the pirate show thats located on i drive. it was good fun although the food was not the best [ just basic with no choice] you dont notice it too much cos you really do get involved in the show.

PIRATES DINNER SHOW (http://www.wdisneysecrets.com/index.php/orlando-dinner-a-evening-shows/111-dinner-shows/281-pirates-dinner-adventure.html)

Personally, I wouldn't go back to this dinner show, we really didn't enjoy it at all - apart from one line which was sung by a member of staff to someone celebrating their birthday.
"This is your birthday song, it isn't very long."

eek sure :/

See we've been to arabian nights but felt it was too much all about the horses for us really. I keep pondering whether we just werent in the mood and should go try it again.

Medieval times was ok but not really as good as the Disney shows.

So it's what new shows to try really

I have only ever been to Arabian Nights and that was dire, I mean really dire. The lead horseman kept falling off, the story line was out of synch and the food was awful. I wouldnt go back if it were free.

See I thought the same Mags but so many people have gasped at me over the years and said it was the best show they'd ever been to, that it's made me wonder if I just went on a bad night

Actually, it was my best friend who told me to go Keith. She had enjoyed it so much that I was convinced. On the night though it was so bad I just wanted the floor to swallow me up as it all went wrong. I think the lead horseman must have been a novice as he just couldnt stay on his mount and the narrator had to stop and go back on his words to keep it all going smoothly. We may have been unfortunate too but I see a lot of very bad reviews now on other forums as well.
To be honest I would just not bother with one of these shows and add a little extra and go to either La Nouba or Blue Man for a great night out.

I love the idea of treasure tavern I really do but am petrified about how much audience participation there'd be. If only I'd perfected that invisibility cloak

How great is blue man group? I wouldnt normally go to the universal area but if its a stunningly brilliant show I would.

Well, Treasure Tavern scared the living daylights out of DH  although there was more than enough eye candy for him!
Blue Man Group was BRILLIANT - you have to give it a go, especially if you can get close to the front so you can see the flip charts they use and the expressions!

ok blue man group sounds like a must do

Did DH get picked on? or is it possible to avoid it if I hide far enough under the table

We've talked about BMG before - GO!
Not many of the men were left alone - from being dragged onstage to simply having a butt or bosom wagged in your face! Not one to take a jealous girlfriend or wife to

We went to see the blue man group a few years ago and really enjoyed it. We sat in the second or third row and was surprised to be handed plastic ponchos and tissues due to the paint splashing. It doesnt splash that much though.
After the show a few of the guys in the show are out the front so you can have pictures :). Def one to watch.

Keith, I'm the public relations director for Treasure Tavern. We would love to host you and there is a cloak of invisibility for you. When you come in to the show, you will meet Gretta, the mistress of ceremonies. Let her know you wish not to be part of interaction. Also, let your server know the same. We understand some people would rather just watch and laugh and we love you guys as well. The actors do walk around and interact at the table with our guests, but by letting the cast know, you will not be singled out by anyone to the audience as a whole. The tavern was recently named the best live show by the Orlando Sentinel. Keep in mind, it is aimed at adults and has a PG-13 rating (no nudity, however)

Hi there welcome to Disney secrets we're happy to meet you

Thanks! I wanted to do a review but it's hard when I'd be hiding under the table the whole time ;-)

I'll go and see what day I can book :)
