ok so.... you've all convinced me to hire a car so now the next question is, where to go ?

We've never really been anywhere that we couldn't easily get to via a taxi. So Disney fine, universal, seaworld, florida mall, mall at millenia.

Any suggestions for places to go now we have a car hired??

Restaurants. Hundreds of them. All out there waiting for you. :D

Few years back I would have said Cypress Gardens but I don't think Lego is your bag. :sigh:

Having a car will open up a whole new world for you Keith, giving you the freedom to do some exploring.
The list of places is almost endless, KSC, Winter Garden Village, Celebration, The Loop etc.etc....I reckon that you will have to stay on for another 2 weeks to take it all in.

Take a run over to KSC. Time it right and you can leave KSC after a day's adventure and run down to Port Canaveral to see one of the DCL ships set sail!

Tom (:macwave:... I'll get you on one yet!)

And if you go the the KSC, you could go on over to Ron Jons for me and pick up a dozen or so items I would like for Zach

Winter Park, there's a Scenic Boat Tour, a Tiffany Museum and a Farmers Market ( I can send you links if you want) if you go on a Saturday you could do all 3 and make a day of it.

Bok Tower, Leu Gardens, Celebration, the list goes on.... :-)

To be fair, of all the buffets we tried, it was far from being the worst and the price was incredibly low. I just wasn't wowed by the choice or the quality

They now actually do a dinner/show Kate - thinking of trying it myself as we've also been to Titanic but this adds a little extra. DETAILS HERE (http://www.wdisneysecrets.com/index.php/orlando-dinner-a-evening-shows/111-dinner-shows/1031-titanic-dinner-event.html)
