The one were I'm a CM pre-trippy Pt Deux

My Disney adventure starts in 25 days, so I thought I'd give you a bit of update on my progress so far :thumbsup:

If you cast your mind back to when I found out I was going, I had a list as long as my arm of things I needed to do, however they are all now checked off!

In recent months I've made the trip down to London to sort out my VISA, bought my insurance and most of my clothes ready for the trip :yes:

I depart on the 24th of May at 9:50, landing at MCO at 6:05. Thankfully, since I have a connecting flight I will clear customs and immigration in JFK as I have a domestic flight from New York to Orlando I should be able to just grab my bags and go once I arrive at MCO. :yes:

Has anyone had experience of doing this?

I give it a week before I start running out of clothes because they are washed and in my case! :rotfl:

MCO is a breeze on the US side since you will go through customs in NY. Take the tram in from the hub, go to baggage claim which is downstairs, get your bags and head to your transport.

You'll be fine once you clear customs. I've not done it at Kennedy, but at Newark and it was essentially a breeze as long as you have all your paper work in order and it's legible. :yes:

I am totally excited but it still feels a bit like a dream :unsure: It's hard to be too excited because it seems as though I'm looking forward to something that's years away :yes: I'm sure as soon as the day comes I'll be like this though :happybounce:

The packing has begun :mental:

Last night I tried all my shorts on from last summer and luckily they still fit :rotfl: My beer belly has not grown quite as enormous as I originally thought it had! :yes: :thumbsup:

Around my bedroom there are now neatly stacked piles of all the different clothes I'm taking. I have far too many shoes though for some reason :unsure:

After checking, re-checking, double checking and triple checking I am 100% all my documents are ready to go in my Disney folder as well as my dollars and passport. I have a tiny list of things to buy now, a new pair of board shorts and some medicines and I'm all set! :yes: I was going to buy a holdall on wheels but the budget won't stretch to that so I'm taking an old case and hopefully buying a new one out there to go travelling with after the program :yes:

I think it is so darn wonderful that you are getting to come over. :yes: I sure hope you get the time to do some fun things outside of Disney as well as working in the College Program.

You may want to leave buying clothing until you are here. If you are staying at Little Lake Bryan, you are within walking distance (and fairly safe walking conditions) of the Premium Outlets. :yes:

I've bought some new t-shirts but I'm only taking enough clothes for a two week holiday. Most of it I will leave it Orlando anyway :yes: In order to make room for souvenirs and new clothes :) You'll have to keep an eye on that weather for me :yes: Two weeks and two days!!
