just thought id share

i was up in london at the royal free hospital for an angiogram yesterday. my pressures are still very high, ive got a swollen liver, causing extra breathlessness, cant walk as far and can only eat half as much as normal as its pressing on my stomach.
got to go to papworth hospital to be assessed for a heart and lung transplant as a precautionary measure if this last drug option doesnt work. also got to have oxygen all the time now :(
my specialist put me on a better secondary drug to get more water off me and hopefully it will help the liver to get back to its normal size. he wants me to atleast lose 6.5 pounds, gulp!!! ive already lost 2.5 stone
before all these issues im now having, i felt the best i had in 5 years since being diagnosed, just my flipping luck its turning totally around :(

:hug2:I'm sorry Mick that you're not feeling well, do they attribute this to anything in particular(the liver)? Or is it a side effect? What do they suggest to do, diet change or medication? I feel awful that your so uncomfortable.

thank you so much everyone who has replied, its very much appreciated :hug2::hug2:

i had all of the oxygen equipment for the home, and when im mobile. i had no idea there was going to be so much of it.

have started on a new duiretic (sp) as my consultant says i still need to get rid of 3kg of fluid, jeez there wont be anything left of me
then my liver will start to go back to its normal size, and stop pressing on my stomach, allowing me to eat more, walk more and get less breathless and get back to how i was before easter. which was feeling the best i ever had since i was diagnosed 5yrs ago so :fingers: on that one :D
