Well, we're sitting in the departure lounge waiting for our flight to Las Vegas for my DW's sons wedding.

We're about to find out how my "terrified of flying" DW is going to handle this, her second flight in her life!

Wish me luck! :fingers:

Tom (:macwave:... now... where's her drugs?)

Good luck Tom.

My wife is the same way and has flown a lot more than twice. She usually has a Dramamine or two and a beer. She's out for the whole flight.

My fingers, toes [and other unmentionable appendages ] are crossed for you Tom....or rather for your DW right now.
I`m sure she will be fine and after getting this flight out of the way it will open up a huge door for you both.
Have a safe and pleasant trip and please give our love and best wishes to your DW.

Well, we've arrived in Las Vegas.

No tears, no nail biting, no problems at all!

My DW, big girl that she is actually enjoyed the flight. :jawdrop:

We had a momentary bit of panic when we first boarded the aircraft, but after we got settled into our seats, she calmed right down, sat back, and actually enjoyed the whole flight. Even the "meal".

Houston, we have ignition!

Tom (:macwave:... today Las Vegas, tommorow the world!)

Sure, you say the flight went well, is that before or after the little pill you put in her drink. ;)

Tis the season of weddings, enjoy!

Well, we have returned from the hinterlands (Las Vegas that is)!

Everybody sitting down?
Good.

My DW actually has now decided that she likes flying! :jawdrop:

UC of course but that's such a small price to pay. Sigh...

But I'll take whatever I can get.

Brilliant news Tom, so when are you coming over

Oh dear, the luxury of flying first class  once you've tried it it's very difficult to travel any other way
