I think it may be worth the money to save the time queuing but I'm kinda worried about how good the view of the fireworks is going to be?
Has anyone done it recently? doesnt the roof of that place get in the way of seeing anything?

Back in the day that was our secret spot to watch the fireworks. Then Disney did the dessert party. But viewing from there is great. But we always had a table by the railing. Even if you go deeper in the room really doesn't hurt the view unless you are way back.

I like the view from there, we watch quite often from the bridge to Tomorrowland quite often and it is a similar view. We always watch Wishes a few times and I do like one of those times to be head on but the dessert party does offer a relaxed time and good viewpoint. :)

Disney like to do things like that, we always used to watch Illuminations from the rose garden at Epcot, now it's roped off :(
We're possibly going to give the Dessert Party a go this year, I think me and my sweet tooth will enjoy it :D

ooo ooo ooo I know this I can answer one for a change
The dessert party is a great new party available in the magic kingdom on wishes firework nights :) it's in a little place near the noodle place
You get your choice of an amazing amount of different chocolates and treats :) along with nice drinks. Then you watch the fireworks from your exclusive area
It's really great
