View Full Version : Pavers saved my feet

I wear flay shoes/sandals every day at home. I bought a couple new pairs of flat sandals for this trip and wore them at home for a couple of days to make sure they were comfy - they were.

Wore them for our first day here at Busch Gardens and my feet were sore at the end of the day. Wore the other pair for day two at Magic Kingdom and I barely made it back to the car at the end of the day. No pinching or rubbing etc, just barely able to put any weight on my feet as my soles were so painful.

Woke up third morning and I could barely put one foot in front of the other, I was in agony.

So, my old pair of Pavers came out and I immediately felt like I was walking on air. They really saved the day and I have worn them each day since even though they are ugly

I usually keep them for our winter trips to Florida when I wear jeans or combats as you don't really notice them. However, this trip they have been worn with all my shorts - to pot with fashion

So true! Fashion is nothing compared to true comfort. Not sure what style either shoe brand is that you've mentioned, but that you have a pair of comfy shoes with you, THAT I understand!

It doesn't matter if you are wearing trash bags on your feet. Whatever works is my philosophy. I have been tortured by shoes and trips before so I completely understand.
