Hey all,

Now that I've worked out how to navigate this site and respond to people my next question is this:

What special surprises can I add to the holiday that I've booked. I'm already thinking of DC and 'Trainer for the Day' but was wondering if people have experience of any other nice 'special touches' for a WDW holiday?

Any ideas gratefully received.
I thank you.

The backstage tours are well worth considering.
We have done the Keys to the Kingdom tour at the MK and found it very interesting being able to see behind the scenes at the park. There is a minimum age requirement though and younger children are not allowed so as not to destroy the "magic".

We also did a similar tour at Epcot over the Christmas period when we were taken to where all of the Xmas decorations are made etc. and again this was very enjoyable.

Are you interested in offsite activities too or are you sticking to Disney?

Think we will stay within Disney, except for Discovery Cove and perhaps Universal. Don't want to have to drive anywhere really if it can be avoided.

What about Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney?
A meal with her fave character?
Private photo session at one of the resorts?
Dinner show such as Hoop Dee Doo or the Aloha?
A gift basket (http://www.wdisneysecrets.com/index.php/walt-disney-world/251-disney-gifts.html)delivered to your room?
If you do go to Universal, there's the Blue Man Group.

Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table would be fantastic if you have a young daughter!

At St Peterburg

We booked a 'wedding' planner who arranged everything including pick up and drop off plus all of the photos.

I can pass on her website and details
