Hi,

I am wondering if anyone got this and if it is any good?

How long does C02 tank last i.e how many drinks roughly.

We are thinking of buying one but DH is worried that it will end up another kitchen gadget that we do not use much after few times.....

We had one of these when they were popular years ago. The new ones look a lot better now. The fizz used to last about as long as when you open a bottle of coke, so it was quite good.

We found it was more expensive in the end so for us it ended up as another kitchen gadget

Like Wendy, I had them years ago. They're strangely attractive aren't they  I keep looking and wondering why I don't have one but then I remember I never used it

the problem years ago, I don't know if its the same now, the drinks didn't taste like the commercial versions. The cola tasted awful, the orangeade was probably the most bearable. It's more "soda" than "lemonade" based if that makes any kind of sense?

If you get it I guarantee in 2 years time you will be car booting it! Lol

well jeff i agree with evryone on this. i beeged my mom to buy one years ago and she finally gave in.:surrender:
the pop tasted awful, although maybe its better now? and it did work out more expensive, but sometimes you have to try it yourself?
i cant remember how long the gas thingies lasted for though.

i definately think dh is correct and it will be stuck with all the other gadgets:yes:

Hi all,

Thanks for your inputs and sadly DH agreed with you all (and I do too :sorry:)

We will not be buying glorified dust collector (I mean sodastream)

:wiggle: never quite like the taste of melted chocolate  only had one taste in the past.

Meanwhile, I am trying to eat less chocolate! :happybounce:

So it's the ideal tool! If you don't like melted chocolate, you will eat a lot less of it with a chocolate fountain :rotfl:

I wish I could sample the drinks before buying it....

Does it work out cheaper than buying bottle of soft drink?

Did you try to make your own fizzy wine?
