View Full Version : Rumour: Disney to introduce free wifi at resorts

For years other hotel chains have had free wifi and Disney's only answer has been old style plugin internet at $10 a day! Eurgh!

Well Disney have been testing free wifi in the lobbies of several Disney hotels and have announced that they're installing Internet enhancements currently.

Could this be wifi coverage but still paid? or could it be a sign they're finally going to catch up with the cheaper hotel chains and offer free wifi across the hotels? we can only hope

It's just silly the things Disney doesn't do for their guests. Free WiFi and coffee makers in all rooms would be a couple of ways for them to be in keeping with essentially standardized services.

Making guests pay for WiFi and forcing them out of their rooms for coffee works for Disney. Only.

agreed! plus with more laptops like the macbook air which don't have ethernet ports, unless an adapter is bought, and ipads etc., more and more people need wifi

Oh geez. Thanks for the reminder. I still need to buy an adapter...

We paid every other day this time as all 4 of us wanted access. Did annoy me somewhat and would be glad if they did do this. Ironically it was the cheapest hotel on this trip that had the free wifi.
