Hi,

I am wondering if people here would give me some ideas for next year holiday.... we have decided that Florida is too expensive so we are looking for a one/two weeks break...

I am not too keen on a beach holiday..... DH is not too keen 'city' break! :surrender:

Does anyone here have any ideas or places that have a good mixture of both i.e beach but near various attraction.

what about a cruise relax and different places to visit. you can get some good prices on the smaller cruise companies like thomsons :)

Port Aventura in Spain is part of the Universal family i think, so theres rides etc there?

Also, Tenerife is good for fun, theres water parks and the Loro Parque (Parrot Park) which has dolphins, sea lions and also has killer whales too

Is that more of 'city' break? I would consider that more of a "Country" break. To me a city break is when you go to one city, such as New York, London, etc. and stay there.

What do you like to do? Are you shoppers or into sports? Do you like to ski or would wine country be more to your liking?Camping, the arts? There are a million places to go! Do you love roller coasters? I mean BIG roller coasters?!
