WHAT IS TONGA TOAST LIKE and is KONA CAFE the best place to go
Yes, although you can get it elsewhere, Kona does it best.
It is a HUGE breakfast, and from my perspective very, very sweet. It's French toast, stuffed with banana and then deep fried. It's served with confectioner's sugar and syrup.
I've shared some once. I know many folks love it! Well worth a try, but if you eat the whole thing by yourself, you won't be eating again until dinner!

I've had it once and it was delicious, but really way too sweet for me.

It is lovely though very sweet! I've only had it at Kona Cafe although I think you can get it at the Poly counter service place (Captain Cook's isn't it?). I didn't add much of the syrup that comes with it - it's way sweet enough without it!

I love it and I am not big on sweets. You can get it at Kona Cafe and Captain Cook's.
There was a time when the All Star food courts had it too, but not sure if they still do.
Yes, Robert Craig  trying something for oneself is the only real way to go!
