We are off to Orlando early October from the UK and we were thinking about going along to the MNSSHP but i need some info.

We are not doing the Disney parks this year so i believe i will need a special ticket, where can i buy these in advance of leaving the UK?

I read on this forum that entry is from 7pm however you can gain access to the park with your ticket at 4pm is that correct? Would really like to make the most of the evening!

Do you have to dress up?

Any information about the event would be really appreciated.

Hi,

It is cheaper to pre-book in the UK, and you can pick it up at the Magic Kingdom. I usually go there from 3pm onward and you can dress up it is optional but no scary costume.

I think it is fun to dress up! If you are travelling on the disney shuttle from the disney hotel, sometime the driver will add special text on the board to welcome the people :yes:

As DeafJeff said, you don't have to dress up, but many people do.

It's a fun time with an amazing parade (I'm not into parades, but this is quite a spectacle)!

Be prepared to have loads of candy! :eek: It's a fun time and well worth attending.

Remember, if you are not staying onsite, you'll be paying $14 to park, in addition to the special ticket you'll need to buy for entry for the Party.

:wave: We loved MNSSHP and would do it again in a heartbeat! Apparently they are decorating the MK August 29 so we will actually see the decorations up next week.(Thanks Wendy!)

If you buy a ticket to MNSSHP, you still have to buy entry into the park dont you? Can you not spend all day there aswell?

If you buy a ticket to MNSSHP then you don't need to have a park ticket as well, but you can only enter the park at 4pm or there abouts.

Im sure we had to buy a park ticket and a MVMCP ticket when we went in 2005? :unsure: I have had a baby since that trip though so my brain is completely fuddled and im probably thinking of something else! :lol:

If you are only going to attend the party, then for that specific day you only need the MNSSHP special event ticket. You will gain admission to the park only once it's open to the MNSSHP guests (I think that can be as early as 4:00 pm, but am not sure).

If you want to attend the park earlier in the day, then you need a regular admission ticket, in addition to the special event ticket for later in the day.
