The ones Ive shared already:

1. Cinderella's horse is the one with the golden bow on its tail at the carrousel
2. There is only one "real" flag on the Mainstreet shops that gets taken down nightly
3. The entrance floor to the Magic Kingdom is painted red, representing a red carpet :)
4. There is a sowrd in the stone ceremony and whoever takes the sword out becomes king (thats all I remember, any extra info is much appreciated)

Did a little research...this looks cool

The names of 2 of the approach procedures that all aircraft follow into their arrival at Orlando International Airport are named GOOFY TWO and MINEE TWO. Any pilot that flies into there can confirm this

Actually, I think you'll find that they're the GOOFY FIVE and MINEE FIVE arrivals.

GOOFY FIVE Arrival (http://aeronav.faa.gov/d-tpp/1112/00571GOOFY.PDF)

MINEE FIVE Arrival (http://aeronav.faa.gov/d-tpp/1112/00571MINEE.PDF)

There's also the PIGLT TWO Arrival but that one's RNAV.

My tip: if you ask for a cup of ice water, at any counter service, you will receive a FREE cup of ice water.

Bottled water costs a fortune, and I'm okay with FL water, so it's an excellent thing to me. :)

The water in the counter service places comes out of the Coke fountain machine so the water should be filtered

Not sure what my favorite was...think it was ...er Coke....

Some of the stuff really was kind of freaky and to my American palate...kind of nasty.

But to each his own...Tink that was a good idea, glad you remember it. Kind of cool to think the formula has to be tweaked to fit culuture's tastes.

Hidden Mickeys have got to be a secret that most new to Disney don't know about - buy them the guide and get them to look for them or the smartphone app there are lots now - it really enhances the holiday and takes you to places in the parks you wouldn't usually go to

Oh and the paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island - not sure if they still do it , but if you find one they jump you to the front of the queue for Splash Mountain

At Animal Kingdom:
-Do the Kilimanjaro safari at different times of the day.
-‘Pangani Forest Trail’: Avoid hottest time of day as gorillas will be asleep.

Dining:
-Compare lunch and dinner menus – often cheaper at lunch for same meal.
-Many restaurants empty immediately before and during the parades.

Shopping:
-If you are in a Park during in an unexpected shower and you need an umbrella or poncho but cannot see them on display, ask at counter.

Not really a secret but my favourite thing to do during any trip is to sit down on a bench for 1/2 an hour and watch the families and people go by - eat a mickey bar or have a dole whip while you are doing it but it is amazing to watch the groups of people go by all wrapped in their own tiny microcosms, often bouncing with excitement or arguing

plus you get to rest your weary feet for a bit

Not sure if it is confirmed but here is something on hiddend Mickeys:

If you go to the Discovery Outreach Center (the learning center) in Innoventions East, they will give you the http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Images/WDW/wdwlist.gif (http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/WDW/Official/Official.html) of Hidden Mickeys, just ask for it.

It's true, the Discovery Center will give you the list. It's no where as complete as this page is though. They also have a whole lot of information available. Look through the binders and ask. Plus it's one of the few things in Disney that are still free.

If you ever find yourself in Atlanta, GA (say hi to catrancher ) and go to the Coke museum. They have a HUGE display of various flavors of Coke from around the world. They did have Beverly too. We were trying to get people to try it

Yep, there is a Coke museum. http://www.worldofcoca-cola.com/ It's very cool. Loved the auarium too. There is also this restaurant downtown called Miss Pittypat's Porch that was FANTASTIC. Of course, everything we ate in Atlanta was phenomenal. Now I know why everyone was out jogging

"I worry about you, really I do"

Don't worry about me Skywatcher... I only drink a couple of cups at a time. Don't want to over do it.

I know that most people think it tastes bitter, but I like that taste. I like the taste of tonic water too... I find Beverly quite similar, albeit stronger on the quinine taste.

Skywatcher
07-12-2011, 08:20 AM

I like tonic water, but I do like watching other people go in there and discover beverly

The Israeli lemon one ( Kinley ???) is delicious tastes like sherbert lemons - yum

I love the fountain in EPCOT, has some amazing music - the score from the Rescuers Down Under and Rocketeer and we like to sit and watch that with a coffee or an ice cream

It was near there we sat and talked to some very special friends :hug2: so its a special place for us

Hey Chris, you are so right. I am so sorry that they closed that little coffee/bakery place near the fountain. Think it is now an icecream place? Not sure. But missed it last time. We usually started our day there with a latte and some sort of baked good.

Mari

oh yes! the fountain!!

We would sit there after Illuminations and just enjoy whilst people made their way out, barely anyone stopped.. and the music & lights show is soooo good!

I kind of have one - well by that i mean i know im right at some point but im sure someone will come along and help or correct me!
Magic Kingdom is not at ground level, the corridors underneat the MK are actually the ground level. MK is built on earth used from the lagoon opposite and it was built on a hill to represent going towards your dreams.

Is that right? Im sure i was told that at some point in the KTTK?!
