I am happy to tell you that my lovely wife is currently expecting our 3rd baby :D

She is 12 weeks and we had a lovely picture of the little one this morning and all appears in the right place. Still waiting for bloods to be done just to confirm but it all looked good to us.

Its been an anxious few weeks as we are soo soo soooo much older now than we were the first time and frankly we know far too much about all that can go wrong.

So a 9 year gap... :mental:

who would have thunk it :D

circle of life and all that :wiggle:

Congratulations Chris! And to Lisa too!

Don't sweat the small stuff. My daughter just gave me a new granddaughter this past August and she turns 39 2 days after Christmas. They had 15 years between the last one and this one.

Tom (:macwave:... grandpa yet again!)

Oh Chris :hug2: huge congratulations to you both :hug2: I'm so glad the scan was OK and you got to see your little one :happydance: :happydance: are we allowed to see the photo  :beg:

Don't worry about the age gap, my friend had her third child after an 8 year gap and she said that it was much easier than when she had the other two - (there was a 2 year difference between them) - she said other than the birth  she enjoyed the whole experience more :)

I am so happy for you both :hug2: :hug2:

Yep I'll get teh scan up as soon as its scanned on - we are having some internet issues at home at the moment - its not as nioce as the live view was - so amazing to think that at just 12 weeks ( which is only 10 weeks of 'being' really) you can watch it move and take a drink and swallow

She isn't really 'enjoying the pregnancy so far but hopefully the nausea will pass soon.

Mine is getting better as well ;)

Dawn, you know me well.

Doc, Mama was 40 when she had my sister. Ten years between us.

My cousin? Well, she was 47 when she had another baby (just a couple of years ago). Large gaps there!

Sure hope Mama Lisa gets past the nausea soon. So good to hear you've cleared that particular hurdle too! ;)

Ginger helps some. :D

That is just wonderful news. Congratulations to you all. The age gap is great. Lot's of my friends have had big age gaps. And also my closest friend has had her first this year aged 40.
I am a Mummy of 3 and can tell you it's just fantastic. I am so thrilled for you. And now will go and tell my DH who is so broody it's unbearable. But he really only hanker's for ours to be little again.
Congratulations :hug2::hug2:

Oh well this is great news, I'm so happy for you both.

Age gaps could be a good thing as the boys will be around to help, I have a 5 year age gap with my boys and a friend who has just found out she is also expecting her 3rd child will have a 15 year age gap with her eldest and a 10 year age gap with her now youngest.

You don't need to wait for a scan.... oh dearie me nooooooooo.... get a wedding ring and a hair.....or is it string? I know Lisa has to lay on her back on the floor for this to work..... Doctors, they know nothing when it comes to finding out the sex, this is fool proof!

Saw the consultant yesterday who we know really well - has booked us in provisionally for section on the 22nd June at 9 am - so unless things go awry we now know the babies date of birth - very strange!

June, eh? Nice month to be born. I think you should keep the gender a secret. :D Keep us all guessing. :D :D

Nice to hear Mrs. Doc (to differentiate from Mr. Doc) is feeling better. How about you Mr. Doc? You feeling better, too? ;)
