Booked in a B&B on the 16th Oct close to Gatwick

Leaving on Flight VS015, Take Off 12.45 17th October 2008 :fingers:

Accommodation - 5 Bed Villa in the Sunset Ridge gated community

Planning started on the same day i got the go ahead to fly again, around June last year. I came home from the hospital and was searching right away to book a long awaited trip, god it seems a lifetime ago since the last trip, just under 3yrs to be exact, we did have a trip booked in 2006 but you all know the reasons why that was cancelled :(

Eventually found a good price for flights with virgin and an 8 seater minivan, and what looks like a superb villa courtesy of our own Malcolm, who kindly offered it to me at a very good rate ;) cheers malc, bit of free advertising there ;) :lol:

Planning on visiting the following parks

Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom, was going to give this a miss tbh, but seeing as Kelly hasn't been we decided to do it just for her
Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon - just love these parks
Islands of Adventure
Sea world

Still looking at booking a Couple of ADR's - i know I'm dragging my heels
We are doing MNSSHP on the 28th October

1st time going with the 400D, so planning on lots of photos, may even do a live report each night, notice the may do, i don't think that will go down too well, but when the mice are away the cat will play ;) :lol:

this trip cant come quick enough i can tell you......well thats this trip as planned so far......hope Ive not bored you too much and you are still awake ;) :lol:

yeah we loved MNSSHP. We had a competition to see who could get the most sweets :lol: DW was winning by a mile until the exit of the park when a CM must have been leaving for the night or something because he came over and just poured his whole stash into my trick/treat bag :lol:

Great night though and I agree with Wendy, although I love MVMCP too, I think the halloween party was even better

we were going to give it a miss, only Denise really likes the park i can take it or leave it tbh. don't get me wrong i don't dislike it, I'm just not a huge fan of looking at animals, seen em once they don't change, a tiger is still a tiger ;) :lol:

we took my nephew last time and he liked it soooooo much he said he was going to ask me if he could come even if i didn't ask him :lol:

i thought it would be nice for Lauren to have someone to have there as Mikey had Jamie and she soooooo loves Disney too, so does her mum and brother but my brother said he don't want to spend a holiday trudging around a theme parks :eek:

we are not doing US horror nights tink i dont think my ticker could stand that :lol:

well for what Ive been thru the last two years next week i think its fitting even if i say do myself....this thing i have is pretty rare and still has a poor prognosis....but you have to carry on and try not to think of that

Don't forget Festival of the Lion King and the newer Finding Nemo show at AK, 'Nut. :) And you can people watch a bit while the others do EE and other crazy rides. :p015:

and its because they dont want me to take unnecssary risks with my heart, so thats cool with me :D still im gutted tho :( but my health comes first :D

look at it this way Mick...Instaed of thinking of all you can't do, look at all the new stuff you can :) There's the segway tour....you might not have done that one before, but now it's on the table :). And there's bound to be rides and shows you haven't done casue it would cut into coaster time...now you have new things to do there too. Plus, The shops have so many little hidden touches you don't see when flying through. Like a waking Tinkebell in a shop in MK. WDW at slower pace opens up the eyes to details we always miss until we are standing still lol. You'll find a whole new Magic :)

i cant remember dinosaur, is it white knuckle or a bit gentle as i cant do coasters so i need to see what i can do :(

At the Tusker House. We normally get an early ADR so that we get in the park before opening but could only get a 9am one this year.
