Cheaper places to holiday?

I love Disney but its so expensive these days. There's disney paris but thats not cheap either.

I was thinking about some shorts trips instead, italy, spain maybe cyprus?

Anyone got any favourites?

i liked malta weather was superb only other place ive been is spain, but quite a few places id love to visit
