What would your top 3 restaurants for Thanksgiving at WDW

I was just wondering, what your 3 choices would be, it could be in WDW or somewhere close by. It's just something I'm toying with at the moment, we might try a different time next year :unsure:

The one that springs to mind for me would be Liberty Tree Tavern, I'm just not sure if DH would like it :lol:

LTT definitely tops my list as well...as does maybe Yachtsman Steakhouse for some reason...can't put my finger on it....but yes, it does.

We actually ate at Ohana one Thanksgiving. It was weird but nice. We had the whole Hawaiian experience. There was a hula dance and some nice group singing and playing the uke. Nice to be a cousin for the holiday.

Another time we ate at Crystal Palace....a very Pooh thanksgiving. In both cases they had a traditional meal. Although, it was sort of weird to eat turkey out of a big cast iron skillet :tongue:

Thanks Dan, Crystal Palace is sadly a definite no no, we ate there a few years ago, we took our friends' daughters, we ended up with food poisoning :(

We went to CP for a meal for our wedding anniversary (it was 5yrs at that point, and we got married in Florida at the Swan so it was nice to be back where it all happened, kind of!), we thought it was lovely, but i can completely understand why you dont want to go back, a bad experience certainly puts you off doesnt it

I never thought about Cape May :rolleyes: it's just something we are, well I'm thinking about :whistle: It's all part of the plan of wanting to go later next year so we can go earlier in 2013 for our 25th anniversary.

It probably won't even happen, you know what he's like for September/October :lol: :lol:

Holy Cow...that is just aweful! So you all got sick? Wonder if is was one item that was common or what...not that that makes and difference...just the science teacher in me coming out.

LTT is definitely not for everyone, Jon can take it or leave it...but for me, it strikes a chord....we're going to eat there on the night of our MVMCP :D I can't wait.

Not that we would ever do it (that has been completely and permanently established :D ) but many folks love to go to 50's Prime Time for Thanksgiving.

Also, we had two lovely Christmas dinners at Boatwrights! Not been there for Thanksgiving, but I'd imagine that holiday would be treated as nicely. The first year we went was over ten years ago now, Herself's Da chose the restaurant. Still missing him after all these years. :( The next time we went he was gone, but it was with Herself's Mother, and some other friends. :sigh:

You know, 'Skip I don't know! It's a sleeper restaurant that has always been nice (food quality and service) when we've gone. I'll bet they make every effort to be festive. OKW is always putting on the extra effort for holidays, so I would think that it would extend to Olivia's.

They serve well... food! LOL. I guess you would say "American" whatever that means. The theme is building a ship (hence the name) and the silver is on the table in a workman's carrier with "rags" for napkins. :D

I had the lamb for Christmas that one year. It was wicked. :yes: Chops, chicken, beef... the standard sort of fare, but done nicely and with unique touches here and there. The only thing I didn't care for was the banana creme brulee. I am a true traditionalist when it comes to some things and I don't want anyone slipping bananas into my creme brulee!!! :mental:
