View Full Version : Booking the Carriage Ride at ..... where was it again?

It's Monday. And I'm having a hard time getting my addled brain in gear today...so I'm hoping someone can help me....

In one of the recent "Going in December" threads, someone suggested a horse drawn carriage ride at one of the resorts, which I think would be LOVELY. I want to say there was one at POR, but for some reason Fort Wilderness also comes to mind. Can someone refresh my memory?

Also, how does one go about booking an excursion like that? Can it be done online? Or must it be done over the phone?

TIA!

Well I know you can do it at PORFQ. I think I remember the post to. Maybe Tink posted it, but someone said you could book a "sleigh ride" at Fort Wilderness. The post said that the campsites are decorated by the campers. Could be cool.

Becca it was in your "What else have I forgotten" thread :)

It's at Fort Wilderness and you can book by calling (407) 939-7529 to book the Holiday Sleigh Ride, they might be fully booked up though as it is very popular.

:fingers: you are able to book something :hug2:

WENDY!! Thank you! Yes, that's the one! :hug2:

I'll give them a call, guess it doesn't hurt to try! If not, perhaps we can just wander through the campgrounds :)

I hope you can get something.

The campgrounds are really good :D you won't believe how many people decorate for Christmas :D

There's always Celebration, they do carriage rides as well, I'll see if I can find any information for you :hug2:
