It would seem that Hoop Dee Doo will be testing new showtimes until February 2012.

Walt Disney World have just tweeted:

"To help meet the needs of guests, Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue will test new show times of 4 p.m., 6:15 p.m. & 8:30 p.m until Feb.11,’12"

4PM is too early IMHO

It's crazy :( but they're trying to cram in more families and pack out the last show as well (which has traditionally been quieter)

Hmmmm...I dunno, I might go for the 4:30 show. I hate coming out of there feeling like I'm about to EXPLODE and then going to bed in a few hours. A 4:30 time might give us an opportunity to see the show and then have time to do a few things afterwards...fireworks or such. Having said that, I've only ever been during the second or third seating, so I might not!

LoL!

I think the earlier time appeals to families with really small children, and to "elders." Now, how many of those guests truly want to do this show will remain to be seen, eh?

I know nearly all my residents like to have their evening meal by 5:00 pm. Not all, but most so they are the age group I'm tuned into considering.

But, like I said how many of that age group will do the "Doo" is beyond me.

There's been a bit of a tradition that the later show can be a little more..... hmmm, not adult, that's the wrong word, but not QUITE so tame ;-) at all times and a little more unscripted. I'm pretty sure that this time change will have killed that.

Ah well, I guess I'll see but at the moment I'm not impressed
