Well here we are at long last :) in the virgin Vroom at Manchester and very nice it is too! About time manchester got one of these although since it's virgin holidays only, and we normally just book virgin atlantic separately, I don't suppose we'll see much of it in future.

The other lounge is a bit "tired" now :sigh: It's well due for a refurb, :fingers: they will get round to it at some point

Doesn`t time fly? I thought it was going to be ages since you were to fly out Keith.
That lounge looks great. Is this the one that VA will use for UC passengers, or is it just for VH?

I`ve obviously missed you by now, but make sure that you and Helen have a wonderful holiday.

Ah I was just going to ask if he was driving again, guess that answers my question. I knew he wouldn't go back to taxis once he gave it a go, the freedom a hire car gives you is so much better.

On the texting thing it's always been a pain... uk-us us-uk... sometimes it works, if it does it can be free one way but cost £1 the other per text

This trip we're using whatsapp which is a great little text-a-like app for iphone/android/win phone/nokia/blackberry has great smilies, can do pictures and photos etc free as long as you have a data plan :) or are on wifi

It's really great and well worth a download http://www.whatsapp.com/

Ah see? I thought you had a US phone. My mistake! I'll let you off on the texting then. :sigh:

It took us 25 minutes to go from Millenia Mall to across the road to BJs!

CRAZY traffic!!!!

When we left we headed west on I4 for just one exit (to North on the Turnpike). It was bumper to bumper.

Actually someone lent me a us phone but Im not sure its good for texts :/ it's a strange thing with pay as you go minutes on and if you text I think it uses a lot of minutes.

Get whatsapp downloaded for your droid :D

yeah definitely more traffic than we're used to but loving the car of course :D I Was definitely wrong on the car front but I still completely understand people who dont want to bother with a car on hols.

We have Mickeys christmas party later which is an interesting one. Use the "takes ages" disney buses or do the car but then wait hours to get to the car park.
