Can you believe weve had 91 replicas of the earthquake? Which translates as 91 other earthquakes in two days

It stopped being funny 60 replicas ago! I feel sea sick... And today they made us evacuate the building twice!! No elevators... Not so nice to go down 12 stories TWICE!

Sooooooooo ready for Disney!!!

That's crazy. We had an earthquake back in Aug. there were tons of aftershocks. I seemed to have missed them all thank goodness.

Oh Mari, that's awful. Scary as well as annoying.

So good you can get away from it all soon. They won't have earthquakes in Disney :D

12 stories....that's truly brutal.

I completely understand. When I was younger I lived in CA, and during that time period we had a pretty big quake (high 8 or low 9 on the scale). We had aftershocks for days, and they were really bad to start with.

I think what's particularly unnerving about earthquakes is the unknown. You don't have any notice.

Oh my goodness Mari, how unsettling and unnerving that must be. I know you'll be glad to finally get to Disney.

Sorry to hear that, Mari, it must be very scary. Just keep thinking 'WDW soon'. :hug2:

Oh wow mari - thats just crazy!!!! bad enough as it is let alone throwing those stairs into the mix too! where do you go when you evacuate?

24-03-2012, 12:39 AM
Ach, Mari. :hug2: Not nice at all!

Ugh! How unnerving it all must be!! Fingers crossed that the days pass quickly :hug2:

When we evacuate we stand in the middle of the street ... They close streets off... Being in an area with lots of high rises you cant really get away from them all, but the street is wide enough, or so they say...

And it is just tiring because you just never know how strong an earthquake is going to be so everytime one starts you just have to be on high alert...

It has settled down

Still hundreds of replicas but not strong enough to actually feel them, you just feel seasick out of nowhere

Thanks for asking :)
