Fantasyland Expansion to Begin Opening Summer 2012

It has been confirmed on Disney’s D23 website that Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid areas of the Fantasyland expansion will be opening in Summer 2012.

Theie website says:

“the Fantasyland expansion—first announced at the 2009 D23 Expo, with an update given at the 2011 D23 Expo—will more than double the size of the area. The first phase opens in summer 2012 and will feature fresh attractions and richer experiences. Cruise by this summer to check out Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest restaurant, and more!”

It looks like summer 2012 is going to be exciting :D

Yay, we will be there in August.

We always seem to just miss things! The Rip Ride Rocket was due to open in the middle of our last holiday and due to delays it didn't open till our last day and we didn't have time to ride

The Harry Potter world was in construction and we could look but not touch :thumbsdown:
