Walt Disney World along with several other counties in Central Florida are under a wind chill advisory, as they are experiencing an unusually cold weather.
The wind chill will send temperatures, in the normally humid area, into the high teens.
Walt Disney World has deceided to cancel several outdoor activities for Tuesday 3rd January and Wednesday 4th January:
Boat rental at the Resort will be closed. Guests can still rent equipment at the marinas, with the exception of the Caribbean Beach Resort.
Pirate specialty cruises have been cancelled for both Tuesday and Wednesday (January 3 and 4).
Pools and hot tubs at the Disney hotels will be open, but no lifeguards will be present.
Evening campfires at the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Yacht Club and Beach Club have been cancelled.
All Spirit of Aloha dinner shows have been cancelled.
The nightly outdoor movies will be moved inside, but have been cancelled at the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian.
