Hi,

I would love to wear star wars costume especially Darth Vader. I am wondering if this would be a problem with Disney as I know that they are quite strict about people dressing up in similar costume as their official cast members.

Does anyone here know of such a rule being imposed at the Halloween party?

Not at the Halloween party. That is one of the very few times Disney allows adults to dress up and enter the parks. Star Wars Weekends are another.

Some say Gay Day is a third. :D :D :D (hey, have you SEEN some of those t-shirts)? :D

Maybe you should dress up in each one and post a photo - then you can let us decide!!

Jeff, one thing to remember if you go for Darth Vader, adults aren't allowed to wear masks.

And if you take up Tink's dare to dress as Cindy make sure you post some pics and shave your legs. LOL

Perhaps Darth Maul would be better? Adults can't wear masks (and usually can't wear costumes!) at Disney. At Star Wars weekends we were especially briefed on the no masks things, but people were allowed to dress up. The amount of fully grown men dressed like jedis was slightly disturbing. :rotfl:

I used to have so much fun doing the Star Trek 'victory' sign and saying 'Live long and prosper' and looking at their faces before they'd splutter out "NO, DUDE THAT'S STAR TREK, YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"

Respect the force young man! I'd quite like to dress up as Princess Leia,

'help me Obi Wan Kenobi'

Oh geez. I never even thought about the mask thing. Yeah, Darth Vader would be pretty hard to do, unless you did the helmet and then did your face in black makeup. It'd not be the same, of course but an approximation.

I'm thinking Cindy is the better idea.
