Snow White's Scary Adventures to Officially Close on 31st May 2012

Disney have now announced that Snow White's Scary Adventure will officially close on the 31st May.

Eventually, Disney Princesses will be getting a new home at this location.

It was originally due to close at the end of February, I can only assume this means the replacement ride in Fantasyland has been delayed :unsure:

We've never done that ride, kind of wish i had now after reading comments on here about it for a while. Never mind!

Wendy, I was JUST NOW watching our local news Channel 9, Orlando and they had a piece on this very news- they said Snow White is closing and they will be putting in an indoor roller coaster and resturarnt there in it's plcae! So excited!:wiggle:

Brilliant, it's nice that it's getting covered by the news channel but, Channel 9 hasn’t got it completely right :lol: I love it when news channel's get things mixed up :lol:

There will be a new meet and greet for the princesses and fairies in an all new Princess Fairytale Hall where Snow White is now and I guess there could be a new restaurant, although I haven't seen anything about that.

The new roller coaster is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which will take guests on a musical ride into their mine. The coaster will feature a first-of-its kind ride system with a train of ride vehicles that swing back and forth as they move along the track. The ride will be accompanied by animated figures of Snow White and the Dwarfs.

I don't know if you've seen this here (http://wdisneysecrets.com/forums/walt-disney-world-news-rumors/19791-magic-kingdom-fantasyland-through-imagineering-lens.html) but it's all about the new Fantasyland :D

Being as how this is in Fantasyland I can't imagine this is going to be a real wild roller coaster. At least I hope not because Donna doesn't do coasters. BTMR is about as far as she'll go coaster wise.

They are calling it a roller coaster, but I think it will be more like Splash Mountain and BTMR rolled into one.

Very cool. Looks like something we can do. My girl and I are not fans of really fast coasters that go backwards or upside down, so this one may work for us.
